This workshop provides an in-depth understanding of core provisions of company law, corporate governance practices, and statutory compliances. Through document walkthroughs and practical exercises, participants will learn how company law principles are applied in real-world corporate transactions and compliance processes.

  • Practical and easy to learn approach towards company law concepts including basic conceptual understanding of incorporation and types of companies, types of shares, debentures, roles and responsibilities and provisions related to directors and key managerial personnel, amongst others
  • Walkthrough of statutory registers, ROC forms, and corporate filings and practical understanding from due-diligence perspective
  • Drafting of board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, and explanatory statements
  • Detailed coverage of the Companies Act, 2013 and understand the evolution of companies law(s) in India
